Frequently Asked Questions

How does Delivery work?

You receive your purchased meal plan between 10:30 am and 3 pm at your doorstep every Sunday. Meals arrive in a reusable cold bag with ice packs to ensure they are chilled to perfection.

How do I know when my delivery is coming?

You will receive a text Saturday around 1 pm giving you a one-hour time window of when you should be expecting your delivery on Sunday. You will also get a text once the driver is 30 minutes away from your location and finally text upon delivery confirming that your meals have in fact been delivered. We do ask that you are home for delivery arrival. However, we do pack meals in cooler bags with ice packs and are able to leave your meals at your door per request. If you want to make adjustments in your delivery, we request you to inform us by Saturday through email or phone call.

In which areas do you deliver?

We provide a delivery right to your home all over San Diego County. From Chula Vista all the way up to Oceanside.

There are only four menu items listed, how does that work?

We have a new four-item menu created every single week, it is not a rotating menu, it is a brand new menu based on the season, and the creative passion of our chef's. We truly want each week to be exciting and new, so we rarely have the same thing on the menu twice. You will receive duplicates of each menu item to equal the number of meals in your plan.  For example, if you order the 10 Meal plan you will have at least 2 of each menu item in your package and 3 of two of the menu items to equal a total of 10 meals.

I have an allergy or dietary restrictions, can I make adjustments to my order?

Yes, we absolutely want to accommodate your needs. Upon checkout, there is a box labeled notes, please place any dietary restrictions, such as allergic to shellfish or Gluten-Free, within that box so that our Chef's can prepare your meals separately and best accommodate your needs.

When should I place my order?
You should order before 4 pm on every Thursday to get your order delivered on Sunday. If you place the order after 4 pm on Thursday, you will receive your meal delivery in the following week on Sunday

Is it possible to change my order details after placing the order?

Yes, it is possible to change the order details but you need to do this as soon as possible. You can get in touch with us via email or phone call for changing your order details.

Am I locked into a subscription?

Orders are on an automatic subscription basis. You will be charged on the same day of the week that you originally placed your order. However, you are never locked into a contract and are able to suspend or cancel at any time.

How can I cancel/pause my order?

If you want to cancel the order, you need to take action before Thursday at noon to prevent any inconvenience and charges. You can do so by logging into your account selecting subscription and clicking suspend (pause) or cancel at any time. This will immediately pause your order from being charged. If your order has already gone through and you would like to cancel please reach out to us via email so that we can refund you and make sure your order is canceled.

How long can I store meals after receiving it?
We deliver freshly prepared meals to you. These meals can be refrigerated and stay good for eating for almost six to seven days. It is recommended that you put 20% of your meals in the freezer while keeping 80% in the refrigerator to ensure freshness, quality, and taste. When you have finished your refrigerated meals, take the desired amount of other meals from the freezer, and keep in the fridge to defrost enjoy for the next days and continue.

How do I heat my meals?

To reheat your meals simply place in your microwave in the meal container/ Tupperware your food comes in (it is both microwave safe & dishwasher safe), lift the lid open a bit, and then heat on full power for 1.5 to 2 minutes depending on the power of your microwave and heat temperature preference. If you do not have a microwave you can use the stovetop or oven to heat your meals, however, you will need to use an oven-safe pan instead.

Where do I find the Macros for each of my meals?

Upon delivery of your meals, each meal will have an informational sheet in the packing slip on the outside of your bag with a QR Code to scan that includes all of the ingredients in your meals and will have all the nutritional information listed so that you can easily track your macros. Or Simply visit to view this week's macros, updated every Sunday with your new delivery.

For every meal plan purchased, we donate one meal to someone who is in need every week. We are and were heartbroken to see friends, and family members, those in our community losing their jobs all around us and for the first time having to worry about how they are going to put food on the table. We want to do our part in helping those who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19, and to those that are working the front lines, as nurses, doctors, and essential workers. Together we have been able to donate over 2,000 meals back to our community and each week it is growing! Thank you!

Donations can be picked up on Sunday's at our commercial kitchen in Sorento Valley starting at 10:30 am each family can receive a maximum of 5 meals. On a first come first serve basis. If you know someone who is in great need please have them reach out to us for more information via email or Instagram. We also donate meals on Monday's to various hospitals around San Diego County.
